I had the opportunity to work with New York-based campstove and energy device brand BioLite, capturing lifestyle imagery of their 2016 product line to use in their initial product release and ongoing marketing materials. As much of their existing imagery had been photographed in New England landscapes, I aimed for a shoot concept and location that would encapsulate an iconic niche of West Coast outdoor culture. It was an honor working with a brand that is intrinsically invested in improving public health in the developing world and stewarding the environment; BioLite uses funds from their camp gear sales to develop and distribute smokeless home cooking stoves that curb pervasive smoke-inhalation-related deaths (4 million annually) throughout the world.
